Organization Overview: Musana builds and operates integrated, self-sustaining community ecosystems in Uganda that include schools, hospitals, women’s vocational/business training centers, and local enterprises like hotels and restaurants. Our model reinvests profits locally to ensure long-term impact and dignity for the communities we serve. We are at a pivotal moment—scaling from 3 to 10 communities by 2032, expanding into Kenya and Tanzania, and restructuring globally with new governance and blended finance models. Our work is rooted in Christian faith, putting Jesus first in all we do and seeking to reflect Kingdom values in every enterprise we build.

Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to serve as a strategic finance partner to our global leadership team during this period of rapid growth and organizational transition. The Fractional CFO will provide high-level financial strategy, oversight, and structure, ensuring Musana’s finances are investment-ready, transparent, and aligned with our mission.

This role is ideal for a finance leader with both nonprofit and social enterprise experience, comfortable bridging philanthropic capital, impact investment, and enterprise financials.
